The cast was great.crazy, cryptic, mysterious, manipulative, obsessed, driven.everyone's role contributed successfully to the uneasiness intended with this dark family drama. Backdrop was perfect.the house, the forest, the town. The film did a nice job of following the story from Mary Katherine's, or "Merricat" as she is called, perspective. In the book, the story is told through Mary Katherine Blackwood's point of view and introduces the reader to an unreliable narrator.
